Why a weekly plan beats deciding at 9 in the morning
The everyday problem in an Indian kitchen is not what to cook. It is that four people are hungry at different times, one person has already eaten, and nobody is sure what is left. A weekly plan puts the answer in one place before the day starts.
Plan the week once
Fill in breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner for seven days. Tap any meal to change it.
Everyone sees it
Your family opens the same app and the same week. No more asking what dinner is.
Keep it varied
ClanBite notices two days in a row of the same sabzi and suggests a change.
Shop from it
The shopping list is made from what you have actually planned, not a separate list.
Built for how Indian families actually eat
Most meal apps are made for a Western week. ClanBite's rules are written for an Indian kitchen, so you set the rules once and it keeps to them.
- Veg days on fixed days. No meat on Mondays, no fish on Tuesdays — whatever your house follows.
- Jain, vegan and no-onion-no-garlic days. Set them once; ClanBite will not suggest dal makhani for a Jain Tuesday.
- Leftovers are a plan. Extra dal from tonight becomes tomorrow's lunch, so nothing is wasted.
- Roti, rice or both. Each day can carry a different grain, the way a real week does.
- Tiffin and eating out still count. Days when nobody is home are planned too.
What your family can each do
Invite your family by Gmail. You choose what each person may change.
- Admin — everything, including adding people and turning on the business side.
- Editor — can change the meals and the dishes.
- View only — can look at the week but cannot change it. Good for a grandparent or a child.
It works on the phone you already have
Open the link, sign in with Google, and the week is there. No download from a store, nothing to install, and it works the same on a computer. Your plan is a Google Sheet, so you can always see the plain data if you ever want to.
Free to use. Your meals stay in your own Google Drive.
